I hope that Penny Justice can be a place where Catholics find out about Distributists, Distributists find out about Permaculturists, Permaculturists find out about Catholics, everyone finds out about Humanure - you get the idea.

I’m moving the site to new software over the next couple days, so please pardon me if the feed temporarily disappears. The move should be seamless, but one never knows. Also, the new feed is currently going to be only in RSS format (rather than Atom or other formats). If you’d prefer something else, please let me know and I’ll get a conversion working. RSS seems to be the main format these days, but I want to oblige. I’m excited about the new software, but I’ll explain more on the other side.

They call you Packrat, but who’re they sending to wake the Princess? Not only has the faraway Prince failed to deliver, but it’s just come out that a hefty royal loan has had twenty years to accrue in default, and the repo giants are on their way.

To tip your laptop sideways and drain a pint of water is to cross a certain frontier.

I like to hear people talk politics in a cool, steady voice and use words like “tyranny”.

Some Muslims, I might say, at least progressive Muslims, actually reverence Jesus more than we do Muhammad. Further, we have a special veneration for St. Thomas Aquinas. And we’re encouraged to go to Confession at least once a month. To a Catholic priest. Now, in proposing these fascinating ideas, I might be right or I might be wrong. But would I be Muslim? A progressive Muslim? Any kind of Muslim?

I have been doing something for the last month. I’ve been writing about my own blog.

I mean that we, today, live off slave labor. We keep it out of sight, like the Northern men who made tidy fortunes exporting Southern cotton. But Southern cotton is as close as your nearest Home Depot.

Seen in this light, the story features a rather narcissistic but mysteriously adorable young child whose only friends, really, are his teacher and her descendants (replenished yearly). All his love, respect, and devotion are for the Cavatica clan alone.

I’d say more, but I have games to play.
